Enhancement of CBRN capacities of South-East Asia in addressing CBRN risk mitigation concerning CBRN first response, biosafety and biosecurity awareness raising and legal framework

The WP5 National Training Workshop of Cambodia on Biowaste Management has started today, 11th of June 2018.
The Workshop, which will last four days, will be attended both by workers from laboratories and hospitals and workers in charge of biowaste handling and disposal at the final stage. Participants will be trained by the two experts Dr. Philippe Stroot and Prof Philippe Le Coustumer, who will organize lectures, practical exercises and also group discussions. The attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the different stages of biowaste management process and raise their awareness on biowaste handling good practices.
The WP5 National Training Workshop is implemented under the Work Package 5 “Risk assessment, transport and management of hazardous biological waste”, which is part of the wider project “EU CBRN CoE Project 46”. The project involves several countries in South-East Asia with the aim of enhancing the capacity of South-East Asia countries in addressing CBRN risk mitigation.
