This enabled experts from the project to meet with key personnel, including the Malaysia CBRN CoE National Focal Point (NFP), Mr. Lum Wan Liang, and some members of the Malaysia CBRN National Team, as well as to meet key CBRN Agencies within Malaysia, such the Fire & Rescue Department Malaysia, the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency, the National Security Council, the Ministry of Health, the Pusat Serantau Asia Tenggara bagi Mencegah Keganasan (SEARCCT), the Atomic Energy Licensing Board, the Science & Technology Research Institute for Defence (STRIDE), and the Department of Chemistry Malaysia.
The mission, organised in conjunction with the CBRN CoE National Focal Point (NFP), Mr. Lum Wan Liang assisted by Ms. Nur Azureen Mohd Pista, was very successful, enabling the Project Team to meet with key CBRN personnel within Vietnam and visit a number of facilities and institutions to enable them to understand how the project can be implemented to the maximum benefit of the country.
