Between the 2nd and 5th February 2016, implementers from EU CBRN Centres of Excellence Project 46 visited Phnom Penh, to carry out an initial fact-finding mission

In Phnom Penh, project experts met with the Cambodia CBRN National Team and a number of laboratories and key agencies, such as the Institute of Exploration and Experimentation of the NACW where observed CBRN training being delivered to the Cambodian Military by the United States’ Marines Corps, as part of a U.S. programme of support to Cambodia.

The mission, which was coordinated by the CBRN National Focal Point for Cambodia, Lt. Gen. Ke Da, was very successful, enabling the project team to agree on a number of priority areas on which the project’s three components will focus as the project is implemented in the country.
